Ok, I'm thinking of buying a 330 big bore kit for my 300 and I was just wondering how much of a diff. It would make and what would it be compared to, your input would be helpfull, thanks

the difference is a 289cc to 330cc. its like comparing a 327 to a 350. you get more horsepower and torque. also add a 38mm carb. this will allow more gas to flow in to the cylinder.

Keep in mind that you will have to modify your cases also to accept the larger sleeve. I was gonna do this until I found this out.

If you don't want to have the cases machined. Or take a dremel tool to the cases like the people selling the kits on eBay suggest then Powroll makes a 319 kit that will work on stock cases. You can get it in lower compression ratios to stay with pump gas also.
But it costs more than the eBay 330 kits.

my friend had one when we were kids and his 330 was very fast. it was night and day with port work and a better carb. put a uni filter and high flow exhaust and you will be very happy.
