Choke will not stay pulled up

What do you do when the choke plunger won't stay pulled up?

Just get a new one, takes 2 minutes to change, only reason I know is that I just did it on my Apex.

Just choke see pic it's the old one, got a new one from Paul @ 609

I cinch down a small ziptie onto the upper rubber end and clip off the excess tail of ziptie. The little plastic collar usually wears down al ittle and the plunger won't stay up.

time out - why do you want the choke to stay up?? just to start it?? (i hope)

is the choke on when the plunger is up or down? I dont understand the zip tie comment/solution.
