fan ?

When the fan runs does it make very much noise? I have a Rancher and always here the fan kick on but I just bought a 2007 450R and rode it all day yesterday and never heard the fan once. I rode some open road and some tight woods and would think that it would have kicked on. Any suggestions?

I have an 05 450r and the fan kicks on at 190F you cant hear it the only way to tell is by looking at it when your bike is warm.
