Make sure they are lubed up, and give them more air.

You'll never get them seated if you go by the manufacturers recommendations. Those are there for legal reasons only. I've had to put as much as 65 psi in some to get them to pop.

Put about 60 PSI.

If they dont pop onto the bead then pick it up and bounce it like a ball.

They give those limits so no one can sue them. They figure if anyone tries, they can claim negligence on the tire owners part for not following thier guidelines.

I hate to say starting fluid or ether, but its the only way I can set my tires. I don't have any tire tools or a big compressor.

As a disclaimer...What I mentioned is not a safe way to do it and if you do wear safety glasses.

dawn dish soap and water with about 65 psi usually works for me its all most there just hold it till it pops on but ya make sure you have plenty of whatever your using to lube

let some air out of the tire, put a ratchet strap arround the tire tighten it down...make sure its strong enough to hold....and then put the air in the tire...its gonna force the tire out instead of let it baloon

take your tire n rim off your bike. put the max air in it. lube it up nice and bounce it on the ground like a basketball. it will cause enough force/pressure to slide the bead right on. trust me, its way saver then starting fluid or a rachet sharp.

Two suggestions: *Starter fluid & a *Lighter. Go nuts.

One warning: *Stand back :)
