Slingshot or Direct Drive lock-out????

I have done some research on the Direct Drive and the only downfalls I have noticed is the extra cost of the kick starter shaft and heard that it rubs your leg as it sticks out so far. I do like the see thru cover though.

Cant find to much info on the slingshot. Anyone know how much it is and who deals with it?

i have a direct drive doesnt rub my leg i did get it because it looks cool.. the sling shot you run less plates and you have to machine down ur boss hub a couple thou

I thought the extra 1" would get in the way and the kick starter would drive me nuts but i never even noticed it.
I can tell you the direct Drive guys are great to deal with (production was a little slow though) and overall im really pleased with them.
Zero slipage and it still has a great feel.
