How long can I leave gas in the tank without damaging the quad. any ideas?

I wouldn't leave it over a year.... So long as you have Gasline antifreeze and it stays clean is should be good. It will probaly evaporate before a year though... Just my thought.

I use STA-BIL over the winter when I'm not riding.

You can leave the gas in the tank as long as you want, but after about 30 days the gas will dry up in the carb and clog up the pilot jet. The long the gas set's , it will lose octane. You can put Stabize in the gas to keep it from clogging up the carb.

can the pilot slowly get clogged? I ride like every 2 weeks recently sometimes longer. Do you think it can start clogging or will it "clean out" after u ride? Just dont want any problems:D

When your done riding and cleaning your quad and not going to ride for awhile, turn the gas valve off and let it idle until the carb runs dry.

I don't know how beneficial this is but it works in theory:)

Pump gas that we can get today is just...well...junk. It will only last for around three months before it begins to break down. Just don't let it sit around for to long.

I put my quad away to work on it. If I know its going to be over a month I suggest using Sta-bil like Rider11X said or just draining the gas out of the tank.

Just run your wheeler right out, and then stay close to home when on the reserve. Seriously I heard about 6 months it loses 10% of the octane. Like it's been said use stabil or drain it.
