put in high comp. piston & cams

can anyone help. I put in a 14:1 high comp. piston and a set of Hetrick TT cams and now I can't get the dang thing to fire. I sent Hetrick my power commander to remap it and that was it. I was very catious putting the motor back together, so i'm 99% sure that is all fine. I checked the spark and have that. I'm just getting flusstered. It cranks over but no pop. HELP ME!!!!

It sounds like the timing is off. pull the valve cover off and put the piston to TDC and take a look at your timing marks. I'm pretty sure thats what the problem is, because mine did the same thing.

Thanks i"ll try that. But even if your off one tooth would it not make it fire?

Yep if the timing is off any at all it won't start.
