05 & 06 hrc ?

I know this topic is thrown around a lot on here but i have an 06 450r just put a hrc kit in it. To me this seems like it is a top end cam and lacks the bottom i am looking for in the woods unless you clutch it more like a 2 stroke. Now i have two buddies that have the 05 with the hrc kit and it feels very good off bottom and pulls all the way through. I THOUGHT i read that the 06 was good all around and 05 was strong on top but after riding they feel opposite. Any feed back would help. And what are you 06 and newer guys running for cam i heard some run the 05 and know of a pro gncc bike that was bought it is an 07 with the 05 hrc cam.

04/05 hrc cam is mid-top end cam
06+ hrc cam is low-mid (with ok top)

my '06 with just hrc was a torque monster with tons of low end
and pulled hard all the way through

who installed your hrc kit ?

I had a guy who works on a couple pro am gncc riders do my motor work, i might just need more time on it but it seemed they pulled me off low and i had more on top
