flat landed a decent sized jump the other weekend, people have flatlanded it before but came off alot better than i did with a displaced fracture of the radius and ulna (both bones in your arm) and a fracture of the smaller bone in my leg. i cant help but think what preventions i could have taken or isit one of those things but that is by the by now :D .

now after the operation (13 screws and 2 plates) im thinking if it would be better for me and my arm to run fasst bars (i used them on the blaster and got on fine) im just trying to less the strain on it when riding.

any advice would be much appriciated :)

thanks

yeah, they would be good. they absorb so much on landings.

my brother broke his wrist using the red eslastomers in a 75 ft tripple i think its mostly how you land on the bars

yeah i understand they wont save me again its just over the rough stuff having a little play in the bars would help ease the strain

I love mine!!. I ran the blue shims for a while and they were way to soft for my style of riding. Now im running the reds. They are still slightly soft but if i wanted a real stiff set of bars i woulda bought pro-tapers lol

bolt those flex bars to an anti-vibe stem and you will really be cadillac. ive also seen some sort of bar that you put inside the end of your handlebars that stops the vibration, not sure what they were called though.

I know what hes talking about I have seen them They go in the end of you bars and hold the grips on they are long and are rubber which minimizes vibration. I foget what they are called to I dont think a steering stabilizer does anything for vibration.

if your cheap like me and dont want to buy bar inserts you can always use 100% clear silicon

I believe the same company that makes the flexx bars make the handlebar inserts(fasst?). They are like 40 bucks, and work well. Buddy has a KFX450, they have terrible bar vibration and they worked really well.
