Question about 450R footpegs

Will the standard 400EX heelguards still bolt on if I swap to these pegs?

I just put 450 pegs on my bike about a month ago, and yes they'll fit "O.K." by that I mean that they aren't going to be snug around the end of the peg because the 450 peg is a bit wider. They also bow out a little along the front and back of the peg, but they look good from a distance.

yeah i had the same idea awhile back...but that is a problem i didn't want to run into....basically if you change the pegs then you have to change the heel guards too for it to look right....i'm saving up for some ims/roll pegs and heel guards

How about using 450R heelguards? Is there anything else that works well?
