ok now in the manual it says to adjust the valves after the first 10 hrs and then after that every 20
i never did that with my old kfx and i just want to be safe when i get the new one so basicly how often do you guys adjust your valves??

I adjt mine probly every 30-40 hours. Is yours with stock cams??

it takes nothing to check valve clearances on these quads. if it were me i would check it after the first ten hours. that is when everything should be fully broken in and it is to just make sure that something in the top end isnt going wrong. if you race i would check valve lash every 3-4 races. trail riding every 15-20 hours of mild to sorta aggressive riding. but that is just me. a little maintenance goes a long way and checking your valves takes a total of 15 minutes tops

I would agree with hardcore. if your racing you need to check it a little more often. If your just trail riding you would have no problem going at least 30 hours or so.
