whats better??

Hey i was wondering what is better a 250x or a 300ex. I know the 250x is lighter but it doesnt have as big of an engine. I just wanted to know what you would get and what would be faster and more worth the money?

Im pretty sure they share the same frame, just the 300ex has a bigger displacement, i dont know how the engines compare though.

in my opinion the 250 is better the engine has a hotter cam and makes it faster than the 300ex yes everything is the same other than that and the electic start its not alot faster but is a lil nit faster if you get a 300 you will get beat by a stock 250 if your riding a stock 300

The 250x is a little bit faster than a stock 300ex... I have a 87 250X and it runs really well... Dont let the smaller motor size fool you, it runs good...:D

I've owned both a 300 and 250. Stock to stock they are about even. With mods the 300 kills the 250.
