I know by looking at them they are different by the number of rivets holding them together. Are they the same otherwise? Timing still the same?

I have both and compared them last week. Same timing, key way is in the exact same spot. atc fly wheel inner hub is built different. atc fly wheel is right at 2 ounces lighter. I have both flywheels at work and can get the exact weights and measurements if you need it.

I also know that you can't take off as much material on the atc flywheel as you can the trx flywheel. Machinist at work was lightening it up for me and got a little too far.

I got a brand new atc flywheel from a buddy and just wanted to know if it was the same as the Trx. Thanks.

trx flywheel weight 2lbs 5.4oz
atc flywheel weight 2lbs 2oz

That is what the machinist wrote on them.

they would be lighter due to the center hub being smaller. Ive seen them crack easier also. line them up together and check where the pickup makes contact they could be located different.
