Hey guys,
I had a bad experience with the stock plastic mini "nerf guard" (if you could even call it that, L O L) My foot came off the peg when landing a bit crooked of a jump, somehow my heel pushed the plastic thing into the wheel, my foot got caught in the wheel and my leg ended up jammed between the wheel and peg, with that plastic protector crap all wedged in there as well. Cannot believe Honda does not put something better on there for safety.
So, the bottom line is, I am in dire need of nerf bars. Which do you guys recommend.

I have these Pro Armor Nerfs with Heel Guards that I really like, and they aren't that expensive. There are some really nice ones out there, but they come with a price tag.

So the only difference in the XC and fat peg versions is the built in fat pegs. I hear the heel guards crack on the fat pegs, so why dont people run the xc and just put a better foot peg on them....

Here are the XFR on my sons quad. I just installed them last night and need to work on the nets still. They have great craftmanship and the welds go all the way around the heel guards. Not sure if the Pro Armors do or not. Still leaning between the two. These are more polished looking and not sure if that is better/worse.

i've heard from some people on here that the black paint will chip and peel after while.

i like the old school dg kromelites but you cant find them anymore. i guess if i smash them or something i will have to find something else. They have saved me a few times. I made my own kickups with a set of stock pegs they work great. steve

There were a set of the Pro armors on my ex when I bought it. One heel guard is all tweakedand they have welds cracking.

Not to mention that they attatch UNDER the pegs and take an inch or so away from ground clearance. I found this out after trying to jump a couple logs.

Are there any Nerfs that mount flush with the pegs and frame, and not under it??

My AC's are black, they have held up pretty good. I do have some small chipping hear and there but nothing big. You will like them.
