I have narrowed down my front shock search to these two....just wondering what the difference in performance is between the two....i do like the look of the ishocks better but the fox shocks are a little cheaper....the ishocks are around $995 and the fox are around $700....the price doesn't matter so much...i just want the best performing shocks..just looking for any opinions from people that have used these shocks before

Never rode on the two. In the 450r forums, they said that for the fox socks, to be at the best at all times, they need to be serviced after every 3 or 4 rides/races. So I'd go with Ishocks.

i'm pretty sure fox shocks are the best bar none, the $700 ones are the cheaper floats, non ressies, but the nice thing about the ishocks is you can get a complete front end kit for them, shocks, a-arms, tie rods, brake lines, and there shocks seem to be very well built also, but if you want the best shocks i would get the fox float evols, but there $1400....

yeah the $700 was for the cheaper fox float shocks....basically i want something that's not so stiff and doesn't bottom out on bigger jumps....not really looking for top of the line racing shocks but you know...close as i can get at a reasonable price...i mostly ride trails that have small jumps in them....climb hills and stuff...but every now and then i may ride an mx track if one is around the area i'm riding at....i guess you could say i'm a performance minded recreational rider....lol

yeah they are great...i don't know why shocks have to cost so much though....lol....i'm sure i will give in and take the plunge pretty soon....i also want some ims/roll pegs, heel guards, and front bumper.....another $500 added to the $1000 for the shocks...hahahha

well i'm not going with full nerfs...just the heel guards...i have to buy them since the stock guards don't work with the ims/roll pegs...kindof forced to buy them if you buy the pegs...there's actually a set of heel guards and pegs for sale on ebay
