When I was working for Caterpillar I had a parts guy find me the correct orings, that was years ago and I should have kept the part numbers :cuss:

If you goto a Cat dealer you will need the old orings so they can size them up.

Sounds like a good idea but I don't have the original orings. If you could figure out that part number I would really appreciate it. Even if you could get me some I would send you the $$.

i called and there records don't go back that far. Might just try taking the head in and seeing if they can match them up that way.

Might try this site, http://www.planettrike.com/ find atc-eric or Cory Sprock. I rode with both of them a while back and I thought Sprock racing had those orings, I'm pretty sure atc-eric just took over a bunch of daily stuff for him since business has got to big for him to handle all of it. Sprock makes soem nice parts.

There are 2 orings that go in the head instead of a gasket.

there are also 6 or 8 small diameter orings around each head stud

I didn't see them, it looked to me like it was setup just like a pro-x head with 2 orings

Are they the same size as the old YZ 250 O-rings ? (I use those in my 310)

Or just measure the Inner Diameter of the ring groove and the cross section of your old O-ring.

Then contact a Supplier.....Usually an Industrial Bearing & Belt supplier has access to them

I deal with :

http://www.ableorings.com

or

http://www.globalrubber.com

Order the inner O-ring in SILICON & the outer in Viton.
