So I just got back from a Little Sahara Sand Dunes week long trip and I had a tonne of fun. I saw a few outlaws out there but mostly Yamaha's and Suzuki.
First, a while back I did a airbox mod to my quad as the IRS boot seems really restrictive. It closes up as it bends to go into the carb so I took some standard plumbing fittings and modifide them so I had a two inch intake going into the carb with my K&N on the end. THIS SETUP ROCKS!
My brother who has stock set up with a k&N and a megabomb full 4.1 system was 50 feet behind me at the top of sand mountain. I know his bike is jetted good because I did it. Mine is all stock except the airbox and a tip that goes on the end of the stock muffler.
Also the suspension needs some serious work....it sucks.
