flat track gearing?

im gonna try out open practice at the local flat track this weekend. any ideas on gearing for a banked 3/8 mile? im running 15/36 with 18s out back. any suggestions would be great!

dont think it will pull off corner very well try a 38/15

i was expecting to need to go higher than my current setup. 3/8 mile seems like a long distance to me but im am shiny new to flat track.

ya ive raced a few times not pro or anything close to it but the track i run, im almost positive is 3/8 mile and i have no problems with that gearing.. although i shoulda mentioned my motor is no where near stock what do you have done to yours? if its less than a 440 i probably would go with the 15/38 or even drop the front a tooth but anything over a 440 would handle the 15/36 hope that clears things up some

im running a 416 11:1 stage 1 hot cam 450 carb
