View Full Version : adjusting tie rodes PERFECT

i need some help on how to adjust my tie rods PERFECT and everytime i mess with one side it seems like it throws it off even more and when i sit on the quad it looks like one is goin this way and the other is going the other

i dont have any help around the shop just myself and i so i need to know what will help me get this striaght and stay striaght for once!!

also the bars never stay striaght when im adjusting which makes it even more PITA

K, take a strap and strap your bars to your grab bars so they are straight and will not move

Take some sort of string and tie around your tires (basically a big box) then when you adjust your toe-in you'll be able to measure and see that both sides are the same.

Just an idea Hope this helps

hell he lost me lol but i been using a striaght edge coming off the rear tires since my rear axle is extended and my a arms are also they are about exactly the same width, thanks for helpin i just get frustrated alot
