I want to get rid of it before my gets hurt. I can send the ECU the
Canada but would rather find some place closer.

TNT who did yours?

i beleive the 09's should have the raised temp for the ecu already in it. Correct me if im wrong. Or are you talking about taking the entire limp mode off. I think i just confused myself :(

I was riding tonight and the check engine light started blinking and the quad wouldn't rev out all the way. Rode about 20 minutes (hard) before it happened. I assume tthis is limp mode...Mine is an09 mx

Yeah the limp mode is not necessary for racers and is dangerous. You have to go through your dealer to get it removed. They can send it to the Race Team Tech Coordinator in Canada. Cost shipping there and a $50 processing fee or if your approved for the programm they send you a "Race ECU".

Bear in mind by doing so you have less protection for your engine but thats racing. Not eveyone needs to get it removed but if you find you are going into it often then it is worth the cost to remove it.

Well we sent it off yesterday to BRP. Just have to wait now.
We will be racing the yamaha this weekend, its good we still
got it as a backup for now. Now someone will want to buy it.

I dont think that's correct because the Limp mode is in the ECU and needs to be flashed out.

the "Limp mode" is programmed in to the ECU, the "wire" your rep is talking about is the pink wire that triggers a richer map for exhaust/ intake mods, it does not get rid of the limp mode.

The Race ECU has no limp mode or you can send your ECU out to BRP as others have done.

I raced in 90* heat and some mud this weekend, the bike ran fene, but there is no Limp mode any more.
