View Full Version : 2004-2005 TRX450R Vortex Programmable Ignition

I have a Vortex Ignition that was taken off my 2004 TRX450R. It is in good working condition and comes with the correct bracket to fit in the OEM location. It is programmable, and has 10 maps included which are set by the dial on the control box. It also has a handlebar switch to swap from your 2 most used maps. I can also include the map sheet saying what map is what. I can get pictures up today.

It's like a rev box, but also has different ignition curves to allow the motor to build power in different ways. It's as simple as plugging a control into an Xbox :) There's torque maps, power maps etc.

Well it will allow for your motor to rev higher and make some power gains. The maps are loaded onto the rev box via a computer, it comes pre loaded with 10 maps, some overall power maps, torque maps, etc. I have a map sheet that tells you what each map does as well. No real instructions it's a simple plug and play harness that replaces the stock CDI.
