making 400ex kickstart?

theres the deal i got this 01 400ex off a friend but he had missed placed the key so now the battery dies all the time. i was wondering if its possible to make it kickstart like the xr400. how much are the motors alike? if its possible

I would love to lose the weight of the electric start BUT when you kill your quad on a steep hill the electric start looks pretty darn good lol

check ebay for an ignition switch with a key man, way easier
