Has anyone put a twist throttle on a DRR DRX 70 quad or any DRR DRX quad?

If so where did you buy one from?

Thanks,

Tom

I have seen a few. Think it was a Motion Pro.

we have one on ours - it is Motion Pro.
works great - I'll look tonight to see if I have the part number
still from it. If so, I'll post it.

I can't imagine that it is a safe thing to do for a child....

When they panic they grab for dear life....twist throttle and kids seems like an unsafe match to me.

I think it can be Gary for many kids....
with my son though it is much better because
he races a bike as well.
He has the same throttle on both, so there's
no confusion going back and forth.
I've seen some kids do fine, while others
hate it. Probably an individual thing.
I guess it depends on the reason why.
My son is safer, because he would often get
caught trying to twist his grip on the quad
and get bumped from behind when the rider behind him
thought he was going to get on the gas and he
was hesitating because the grip didn't twist !
Kind of a funny story, but in the long run the twist
is the way to go for us. Those in a similar situation
might find the same thing. All depends I guess.
Whatever works for the rider and is safe.

ToddL,

If you had that part number I would appreciate it. Don't know if I would switch, but am looking into it.

I'm with Gary, I wouldn't do it either. Afterall, the pro ATV riders are not using them. JMO.

We run a Kx65 twist throttle on ours. My boy says its the only way to go. Its easier and all fingers and thumb they are all on the handle bars. Try it , it works great. Let us know how you like it.

Ya the twist throttles from the rm 80 and kx65s SHOULD work,as long as the cable is long enough
