His shots are in my galleries so he has an even chance of his images being selected as any of mine:p

When I first clicked on this link I thought it was Cody riding in the first pic. I thought "Holy $#!+ has that kid drown up!!"

I'm waiting for the day that you try to take credit for his "better" pictures...lol!!!! Very good pics, to be honest, my inexperienced eye can't see a difference in your pics and his!!

I would never lay claim to anothers work...thats a big pet peeve of mine.

I would use his images if needed if they told the story or were better then what I had, and in the past when this is done I give a credit line(even if its Harlen I want folks to know who did the work!)

Now I will take all the pride from his work, and you can bet i'm plenty proud! I can teach him the technical side of things, but he has to develope his eye and timing and learn to work on the run! He is well on his way to being a solid photographer, he may never follow that ability but I am sure he will enjoy it for the rest of his life!

Yes, I know that....I was just messing around with ya! I think its so funny when a kid finally beats his dad. I'm in that position right now....and i love every minute of it! lol.

No but really....sometime, when he gets what you consider a good shot....you should post what he can do vs. what you do.

LOL...I have posted many shots of his side by side in the Photography section:p

I dont view it as competition, if he does well then I have done well:D

We did get into it while shooting ducks, both of us wanted a killer shot and we ended up both being satisfied with what we had captured...even though I liked his a bit better then mine after I edited it:D

1500 is expensive, no matter how old you are.

Amen...the next camera I buy , and it wont be used for shooting offroad subjects, costs $7500.

I am having Codys shot of the Mallard done on canvas for our living room. I personally havent taken a shot of ducks or cgeese that I want on canvas, but that lil' sucker pulled it off:p

Just an update

Cody's teacher asked for him to bring in a few images for an art show. I gave him 4 images that he took and all 4 were selected to compete. We go this evening to the public veiwing :p
