My son wants to change his tire size, he now has 20x11x9 on nine inch beadlocks and wants to put on 18's. should he get 18x10x9 and use the nine inch beadlocks or get eight inch wheels and run 18x10x8 tires. I know all of the mx guys run the eight inch wheel but is there any problem running the 18x10x9's on a nine inch wheel?

If your riding mx, the amount of tire between the ground and the wheel is less with the 9 inch wheel......and if your jumping some pretty good sized jumps that can make a diffrence
