my black plastics look dull any advice?

was dying to have a black fourwheeler so when i bought my ltr 450 a few months ago made sure to get the black well they already look dull what do yall use to keep yoru plastics shining like new?

ill let you in on what I do. I used to use a good automotive wax every wash. Now I use the Maxima sc1 silicone detailer after every wash. It will make your black plastic come back to like new condition.....i swear by this stuff....go to Motosport.com and type in maxima sc1 in the search field and youll find it. I actually buy mine at my dealer here in GA.

i just looked it up the maxima sc1 and i seen it was made for plastics and stuff imma have to get that do you have the detailer or the sc1...it says the sc1 is a clear coat or something kind of confused me

its the same thing....its called sc1 clear coat detailer i think is its correct title.....around 9 bucks a can.....i usually buy 2 at a time and they last me a while......you seriously wont beleive how good that black will look after using this stuff...spray on let it sit for a few min and lightly wipe.......

And yes definately i go down to Durhamtown quite often in fact there this past weekend.....perfect weather......do you go there too?

takes me about 1hr 45min.....this weekend im heading over to Sand mountain mx in Alabama to practice for a race there next month but definately am planning on going back pretty soon with a buddy of mine....let me know when your going and we can all ride

yeah man ive rode all my life but just got into riding on tracks and wanting to start racing ha ive been looking for someone whos races to ride with...yeah it takes about the same time for me to. yeah man let me know when yall go and well all meet up

Sand paper and a heat gun. Get a really fine sand paper and sand down the plastics real good. Then slowly go over the plastics with the heat gun and watch the plastics go back to new!

WARNING: Dont go to slow and dont hold the heat gun in one place for to long or you will burn a hole in your plastics.

Dam you guys are lucky I have to drive 12 hours to get up to Durhamtown but its well worth it.
I just got back this weekend, we had a great weekend and rode like hell.

i tried waxing my fourwheeler today big mistake got wax in the cracks haha had to wash it out finally got it done definately gonna get some of that sc1 you were talking about

yeah the sc1 will really do the trick especially on black I think.....and btw....Durhamtown pro shop sells it too...

I was on a white LTR with Fox shocks.
I was riding with two other LTRs one white other yellow and a red TRX 450.

cool...that was the first time ive got to ride in 8 weeks....I crashed (8 weeks ago) and broke my wrist....so i was getting back on the quad for the first time.....i wanted to see how my wrist was going to hold up....

so I was going to a track in alabama this weekend but I might go on back down to Durhamtown instead
