California Racing

Im trying to find a few somewhat nearby places to race at. I would like to race cross country if possible.

Do you guys know of any places to race that are in norcal or central cal? Maybe even western nevada.

I really want to get into racing, but don't have the money or time to travel across the country.

I would also like it if they had a beginner class if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What about any type of racing... i guess i could give mx a shot, but i would really like to look into xc.

I live down in San Diego and most of what ive seen is MX and Desert racing. But there really isn't alot down here, but i wish there would be. I want to do some XC.

What about the WORCS series? What kind of racing is that?

if your wanting to do xc, you should try WORCS most of the races are in that area. but if your wanting to try mx there is the itp quadcross, the serries i race. that serries has alot of good tracks, they get rough but i think its good training.

So WORCS is cross country? Is it like GNCC? I originally wanted to do GNCC but the races are too far away :(
