2005 450r wont start

sat for a year in shed and then took it out bought a new spark plug and wont start need help

my cousin had a problem wit his 05 not starting and not running right try pulling the carb apart and cleaning the jets they are prolly gummed up thats wat was wrong wit his now it starts first kick almost every time

did you put new gas in it?

yes you should drain gas and put fresh in. also pull bowl off and clean jets and should be fine, yamaha even makes a carb cleaner that you can soak the whole carb in its safe on the rubber unlike the acid aggitator that we have at work.
