This is the video of Anthony Burke #21 and Andy Travis #151 crashing during Pro Am Production Moto #1 at Birch Creek this past weekend. Thank your God that both were able to walk away without any major injuries. If you don't believe in a God, you should start...

Ant is on the right side when viewing the video. It is unbelievable to see how twisted up his body is in slow motion.

that is a horrific crash. Good thing both riders are alright. Looks like both riders were wearing neck braces, they definitely played a role here.

left wrist pappy ..scalfold bone ???? same bone he broke last year.. other than that his back is hurting pretty bad ..

That was some quick responding by the flag staff and medical staff plus with the spectators that were there to help. Props to all those who were there to help out. The neck brace he was wearing where can you find those?

pappy, how in the hell did you take that picture? Does your camera take like 100 pics a second or something? you just hold the button down the whole time or what? That happened so quick I know you didnt see it coming

I actually saw a wreck coming, I didnt knwo it was Burke until i saw his quad running me down!

When Burke went airborne, I had just raised my lens from shooting Travis and knew it would be close if not Burke but anyone else doing the triple instead of doubling it.

Looks like the other guy was alright also and he didn't have a brace on. i am torn on getting one of these. I researched them and some people say they will cause a worse injury by causing a neck injury higher in your neck causing complete paralysis like Christopher Reeves while you normally would have a lower back injury. Also causes injury's you wouldn't normally have without wearing a brace in small wrecks such as coller bone breaks and shoulder problems (like the guy wearing one injured in the wreck?). Weinen had problems with when he wore one now he no longer does. Anyone here a back Dr that has anything to say about them?

ken those are awesome.... Suck for the riders though, but thank god they are ok, for the most part. And remember, bones heal, parts dont!

Not surprising. If you could see the video frame by frame you would be surprised how twisted up he was as he went from a forward roll into a backward roll.

Ouch! That had to hurt. Hope they recover soon. That's some quick reaction time by the guy on that YFZ right behind them... Looks like he almost spilled it.

Some broken bones and soreness that will take a while to go away are what I'd ask for any day.......over a serious head or back injury. Glad to hear both riders were ok. I was down in the pro section taking shots when it happened.......sounded pretty horrific from the reaction of the announcer and crowd.

Hats off to Pappy for putting several thousand dollars down in the dirt to help out a surely disoriented and pain filled rider. And for the record......Pappy is a nice fella, met him in the pro pits Saturday. Nice meeting you dude. Glad the rain held out for us, eh? :D

Just an update on Ant, MRI of his back came back good no fractures etc. they think most of the pain and discomfort should be gone in a couple weeks, unfortunatly the fracture in his wrist will probally keep him out for the rest of the season though. Thanks again for everybodys concern

I am burning the video to DVD as we speak. I had to wait for a replacement DVD burner to arrive from Dell. It will be in the mail tomorrow.

In the meantime, I am converting a version to HD right now to upload to youtube. I am testing a new product so there will be some wording in the middle about it not being a licenses copy or something like that.
