Picked this up from a friend for $5k.

Mods include

holz front end

holz podium rear

rpm carrier

domintator2 axle

motoworks carbon full system

motoworks programmer

flex bars

full set of beadlocks

Now I just need some factory motoworks graphics and Ill be set.

I rode this thing for the first time yesterday on the mx track. Man did I have a smile on my face. Ive never ridden a machine with suspension like this. Holz has it going on. This bike can only be compared to a cadilac. LOL Power is a little low but I think Im gonna leave it alone for now. Maybe an intake. Thats why I have my ktm. I tuned this machine the other night to a tune of 46whp 32ftlbs. Unimpressive but feels more like 50whp on an ltr.

Going to dealership this week for updated clutch, motormounts, ecu fix and coolant leaks. Hopefully thats all it needs. They are covering all of this no question.

driver, i am jealous of you. seriously, lol. two SICC bikes. i'm really glad you picked up a ds. hopefully you can figure out some tricks to get power like you do for every other quad. what are you gonna do w/ the pipe? you need to powdercoat the nerfs & bumper black, too. good luck w/ your new bike, bro.

You know I will my brotha. LOL

I gotta say I really like it. I hope I dont have any issues with it like some have had. Minus the power it feels awesome. The gearing is right on par though. Took off the 42r and went 39r. Seems good there for the power.

i imagine it takes a lot to impress you since you're coming off a 60hp ltr & 56hp ktm

I rode a bone stock Can Am and it felt slow as dirt. Slower than any 450 should feel. Theres gotta be somethign to wake these things up. What is it?

This one feels much better with the pipe, lid off, modded box and programmer. I think we picked up 6whp total. The problem is no torque, well not much whp either. If it had 50whp Id be totally content. I just dont want to have to go into the motor if I dont have to. Its just a practice bike for NOW. lol

they're pretty slow stock. pipe, intake, and programmer/pink wire really does wonders on it. i out run a lot of semi modded bikes. i'll be able to get some video proof now that my wife has a bike, lol. driver, you're sponsored by fuelatv, right? when are they gonna make an intake??

I have heard that alot about these quads and the 650's as well. I have heard ppl saying the same thing. There not to there par when just stock and find it hard to keep up. But simple as changing the intake, exhaust and having it jetted and there hard to keep up with! that is just what I have heard.

I highly doubt either will out do the rossier by much if any. Id say just add some breather inserts like my bike has and call it a day. Not worth the extra .5whp you will get by switching. Just my opinion. You can see the inserts added to the airbox on this machine. Two out back and one on the right side. They are holes with outerwears over them. Works way slick.

"jetted"
What jets? Are you referring to Driver's KTM? lol...

We don't do jets in these parts Pilgrim.

Driver nice to see you wised up and got a real quad. :D Put the money you got in that KTM in it and you won't call a Caddy anymore, more like Lamborginni!! :macho J/k!

Crix: FCI protoype goes in tonight, dyno results within two days.

I don't know if i would listen to the people that rode one once and say it's slow. Mine is bone stock and all I have done to it is the pink wire, air box lid, and exhaust baffle. I know when I was breaking mine in it seemed to run better the more it got broke in. Went down to Little Sahara in Oklahoma in march and raced my brothers which includes a Polaris 525s with slip on, 525irs with a slip on, and a cherry bombed 08 ltr. Me and the LTR were pretty even. with the 525s we were pretty close he might get a half a quad on me, and the 525irs would actually beat us all. One thing we have all noticed about the DS is that it is a very deceiving power. Dosen't seem very powerful until you actually run them.

I might burst a couple bubbles but its not always the quad being slow it might be the rider or rider experience when it comes to keeping up. I know from my experience that if im comfortable and relaxed on the machine i ride im alot faster that something that just doesnt feel right. So its all going to come down to feel and preference. And reliability of course. No one likes to tinker every weekend to keep something running.

This is one of three holes. One above it and one on the right side. All the same size.
