Went to Rock Run for the first time this past weekend. This was due to the fact that Somerset never opened. We had a trip planned for over a month amongst the 10 of us and found out Somerset was not going to open, so we went to Rock Run instead. Man, what a good call!
This place is first rate!
If you have been to Somerset, it is similar in riding, but multiplied by 2! The trails are very well marked and are perfect for sport quad riding. I would not find the trails to be technical enough for utes...but thats just me.
I found myself riding in third most of the day. The turns are tight yet well made so you can carry momentum through the turns at good speeds.
To date they have over 50 miles of trails and supposedly have over 150 miles scheduled in the near future.
For the 10 of us, we paid $16. For riding in PA, this so far is the favorite place we have found!
