Holy cow, by the time you're in third, I'd think you were going fast enough to not WANT the tires in the air, but that's just me I guess. From the research I've done, that stage 2 cam you have in there is built for mid to top end. If you were looking to really crank up the lower end you might drop it down to a stage 1 built for low end. If it's running good and jetted well, I'd say leave her alone, but you didn't ask the question to get that answer..:) You've already dropped a tooth on the front sprocket and they don't reccomend a sparks key on a modified engine due to heat so....I'm not sure you have any other options except the cam. Anyone else?

does the 450 carb bolt on to the 400 or is there mods that are needed?

there are a few mods if you go to the 450 carb sticky at the top they do a good job of how to do it. I ahve not done one to know. I know it is made easier by the zrpilot adaptor he made. I would talk to him too since you dont have to move your airbox with the adaptor. steve
