I have had to adjust my clutch to help to take some more pressure off of the plates. It seems to help for me but your clutch could be getting wore down too. That is all i can think of right now. steve

My 03 does this too. Adjusting the clutch did not help. It is a real PITA because I often have to reach down and find Neutral with my hand. Wish I could fix this.

My clutch did the same thing right before it took a dive!! so it could possibly be time for a new clutch....

Haha! anytime... just thought you should know what you are possibly looking at..
But honestly, replacing a clutch isnt that big of a deal at all.

Well if it is the clutch got any good brands or any to stay away from?

I put mine in about a year ago, and i was running low on $$ and just put a tusk w heavy duty springs, etc.. in it, figuring i was going to have to replace it soon, but have yet to have a problem. If money is not an issue, i would say something along the lines of hinson, or even back with the stock plates, but like i say.. the 1/2 price tusk has held up just fine for my needs. so it is just a personal preference.
