View Full Version : Need help with idintifying a bolt size.

Ok the previous owner of my YFZ replaced the starter in my bike. While doing so he cross threaded the banjo bolt for the oil delivery pipe. He also left the starter loose so naturally it came loose. When i went to remove the oil pipe all the threads were gone so oil leaks out through there.

Rather than spend 250 bucks on the clutch case i figured id take it out and helicoil the hole. Now my problem is that i cant identify the threads of that bolt. I know that its an M10 bolt but is it fin thread or coarse? also what are the numbers after M10? the ones that are like 1.25, 1.5, 1.0 ect?
