Now that I have my pipe I have a question. I believe it's a center mount. JP400R did not specify whether or not it was or wasn't when he posted it for sale (my fault for not asking) my question is can I keep the airbox with that setup or do I have to take it off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if its a centermount the airbox has to come off. do you have a pic of the pipe??

No pic but I can take one. There's a mounting tab on the bottom of the pipe down by the engine mount.

no TRX 6. I just talked to the guy I bought it off of and he said it WASN'T a center mount. The only place I can see to bolt it up it down by the engine mount but it doesn't really line up.

trx 6's can NOT be centermount. they never made them like that.

Like I said before it doesn't line up with the motor mount. It's off by like 1"

Do a search, a question similar to this has been recently answered. I think you will need the stock pipe hangers or RIS. Someone else had a link to some banshee hangers as well that work.

I know when I got my first r a few years ago, none of the correct pipe brackets were on it.

I think we need a sticky with pics and details of misc. pipes with proper mounting brackets. what do you guys think??

You will need this spacer in conjunction with a stock hanger if you are using an OEM frame. It comes with the pipe when you buy it new from ESR. Im sure you can order and buy it separately. I hope this helps :)
