i just bought a 300ex with a fmf megamax pipe and a k&n filter. i dont think the previous owner rejeted it but he may have. what size should i go with slow jet? and what for main jet? its cheaper if i just buy these 2 instead of a 50 dollar kit. The quad backfires alot so i think it needs a larger slow jet. it doesnt have great throttle response so i think it may need a larger main jet as well. what sizes should i get???

go to www.jetsrus.com and read the faq on jets and jetting to the left of the main page...

you may be able to go up a couple of sizes on the jets if your bike is stock but normally you don't install new jets until you install performance aftermarket parts such as an air filter and exhaust.

any ideas on what kind of air filter i should get? and the jets? what does that do for a quad? does is that considered better "performance?"
