how do you remove the ball joints from the a arms?

Stock? They don't come off. Aftermarket? Usually a nut on one side...remove it and the ball joint unscrews/pulls out....

it is a stock a arm but how do i take the ball joint side of the a arm off so i can paint them or put aftermarket ones on.

No offense here but YOU CAN NOT TAKE THE BALLJOINTS OUT OF STOCK A-ARMS. Thay can not be replaced at all. Save your money powdercoating them and just buy some aftermarket a-arms that you can replace the balljoints on.

I'm not trying to be a d**k, i just don't know how else to explain this to you.

If i take the a arm off i can paint it and put it back on tho.

Back the ball joint nuts off, then insert a deep socket in between the to nuts (I actually had to use 2 regular sockets that were just barely smaller than the balljoint nuts.). Then continue to backe the balljoint nuts off, the pressure created by the sockets will pop them right out.

Absolutly not. I just did mine a week ago. no problems.
