I just bought an 05 trx 450r. Got a FMF exhaust and uni filter free. Need to know what jetting should be? I would like to keep air box lid on if possible if not I ncan remove if needed.
Thanks

I don't have any recommendations for running it with the air box lid on.

If you take the lid off, the universal starting point for an 05 with the lid off and exhaust is to use the HRC jetting...

Which is:
185MJ
HRC need middle clip (not required but recommended)
2.5 turns out on the A/F screw

Just incase HRC is just the brand of jets. My recommendation is to find a parts unlimited dealer near you or visit http://www.jetsrus.com and just by a couple jets and try them out. I couldn't tell you exact which size you need because I never ran it with the airbox lid on but I think a good starting range is probably between 140-150 main.

Mainly manufacturers. Keihin jets are your factory jets. Also the sizes may be a little different a 180 Keihin may be a different # for the HRC.

The HRC jets are just an assortment of Keihin jet.
They are just the jets that come with the HRC kit.
