ive been looking for a 15tooth front sprocket and cant find one anywhere. i know stock is a 13, but i have some 19" itp holeshots, and going from a 22 to a 19 i lose alot of poop. anyone know where i could find one, ive looked all over the place, or are there other quads that use the same type sprocket that i could use.

id prefer to not have to touch the rear sprocket.

thanks

man dont but it. i have a 99 300ex with a 14 tooth up front. the chain barely clears the motor. i really dont think a 15 will fit. if you want i'll take a pic and show u what im talking about.

i agree, not much room up there, not even for a 14 tooth.. must grind down case saver.. or remove it all together (NOT a good idea) Just find a smaller sprocket for the rear.. you just need to take off the tire, this should give you the same results. Front sprockets are cheaper BUT.. .. i think a crankcase would be a heck of alot more $$$ than a rear sprocket investment.

have to agree, 15 tooth in front = possible disaster if it even fits with eh case saver gone.
Rears down to 36 are common, you may have to get a more expensive model to find them when you want them.
14 / 37 was a pretty good set up with my 20 inch rears, that or a 36 should do the trick 4 you

if you goin up to sizes, then you need to go down 4 teeth in the rear.

the equation is 1 down in front, two up in back. 1 up in front, twod down in the back.

I have 15/36 on my 250x

There's not much room on the front. it actually self clearanced the case some...

just out of curiosity, what are you running for rear tires?
15/36 is a real tall gear, no way my "stock" 300 could pull that in top gear with 22,s on the rear.

if your runing 15 in the front, why would you wanna go any bigger?

I have 20s in the rear...Planning on going to 22's at some point in the future. Might end up back with the 14 in the front then...

It would top out with the 14 and 20s pretty fast
