Updated YFZ/525sx pics

Today we got the rear shock mount, coil and cdi mounts done up.

We moved the shock mount back to clear the back of the engine and down to correct the framing out issue all YFZs have. This one has an Elka linkage, so the frame would dig into the ground long before the shock bottomed out.

I know my shop is filthy. That's what happens when you have way too many irons in the fire.

Coil mount. I wish I would have mounted my coil this way. Looks clean I think. Just two pieces of 1/2" CR round, drilled and tapped and welded to the tube.

I'm slowly getting used to it. It's prolly a little faster than the 525, but it doesn't have near the low end torque.

looks good guys, i ment to ask yall about it last time i talked with ya but i forgot. i might could bring my bike down there this week but i wont beable to come get it for 2-3 weeks. ive been wanting to ride but im swamped with school till may13-14th.
