I've been researching pipes, etc. and have not seen a lot of information here on LRD's pipe. Who has one? Would you recommend it?

I'm also very curious to know if anyone has used their jet kit. They mention including "exclusive needles that provide outstanding throttle response and acceleration". I'm wondering if these needles are adjustable since the '05+ models don't have adjustable needles and I would like one on mine...

i don't know much about lrd pipes for the 400ex, but i have one on my 250r and i like it, i also know they make an outstanding pipe for the 450r. so i could only think that they would be good for a 400ex but i don't know. you don't see alot of people running them so i am not sure. but around my neck of the woods they are hot for 250 and 450 r's.

if i ever get away from the fmf on my 400 i will be looking into the lrd heavily. just my 2 cents

Had one on my 450R and it was an awesome pipe. Great sound and performance. I had used a dyno jet kit at the time didnt know they had there own jet kit so I know nothing about that. Im in the middle of rebuilding my ex also right now and will be taking off the big gun race and putting on the LRD full system because of the performance from the 450r pipe!

I have one on my 400ex. I love the sound and the performance. Stainless headpipe and mid pipe. Works really good on my motor.

Its an Oregon based company. There are a ton of bikes here locally that run them. They sound nice. I am planing on putting a full exahust on my 05 450r.

here is the web address check um out. They offer a whole lot more then just pipes.

a friend of mine had the lrd pipe on his 400ex. It ran and sounded good, however i think it melted the rear fender a little. I believe the silencer rubbed it or was really close and discolored it some. But i would still recommend it..
