Can someone tell me if this is right. I just got this pilot jet from MARCUMS and I am wondering why it won't fit? I know that the threads are different, I just want to know if this is normal. If not what jet should I ask for. I asked for a 40 for a 400ex.

You need to make sure it's a series 21 pilot. If the threads are different than it's probably a series 20.

Is there any 400s that take a 20 series instead of 21. I am just wondering if it could just be a simple mistake on MARCUMs part or what the deal is.

No a 20 series I believe is for a yamaha. you need a 21

i had the same prob u need a series 21 for the stock carb
