Just looking for a little info on this subject because I have heard little bits about it but have not been able to confirm anything.

I have heard that you can take a Banshee rear shock and put it on a 250R by removing the linkage and bolting the Banshee shock directly to the swing arm.

I have never ridden a no link set up so I can not personally say what it rides like. But I have been told that it is better for mx and about the same for woods.

Another advantage I could see for the woods is droping some weight. loosing some more moving parts and gaining a bit of ground clearance.

Has anyone ever tried this or know where I might could look to read about it? I am working on a project 250R and I am just doing some research for different set ups right now.

Thanks for your thoughts guys.
