changin out the old R

so i got a 250r it is bob linds old quad... and the motor is a strong motor and i love the 250r but its alot more work for me.... so is there any way that i could make it so i can swap out the 250r motor and the 4 stroke I.E. yzf 426? i also know a guy with a KAWI 450 its a 06 or 07 thats fully built what do you think would be the best way? im open with the classes i run and motor...

i just dont know what to do... i love how the 250r is WAY cheaper to run but man its alot harder to run it and be fast...

but the 4 pokes you can be lazy and be fast and its a TON to rebuild it...

any ideas?

Sell it and just buy a thumper then. Much less trouble/effort.

The 250r is going to be MUCH lighter and easier to muscle around. The motor can be tuned to hit however you want.

Keep the R power plant! Its cheap and can be very fast if you know where to put a little money!

wouldnt mind helping another R owner out and telling me where are some good spots to put it?
its just drivin me crazy because on the 426 i had i touched the gass and it was there and now where ever i hit it and on my motor now i tough it and it bogs a little and then kicks in and my plug in golden brown... i have a LRD header i think its the big bore and i have a PC scilencer theres a 38? pwk and a LRD P&P and im not sure if the bore size and all that... its just not the power i would like and im not happy with it i love how it handles... but my motor is lacking....
