timing

can someone give me some info. i just put my motor back together and the only thing that is ify is the timing. everything runs good but when i reach the higher rev area it just doesnt sound like it did feels alittle week too. i was wondering if anyone had any tricks or anything to getting timing right.

You mean your cam timing? Did you get it right? Did you align the marks on the cams with the crank aligned with the hole in the case?

Maybe you just need a tune? What did you do to your motor you didn't have before?

going to double check tonight. on the timing gears u just need to get the lines pointing straight at eachother right. do i need that tool that they call for in the manual. but all i did was replace my case gasket.
