DIRT FEST 2009 teams together with FISHER’s ATV World to help those diagnosed with breast cancer. Tv host, Brian Fisher and the Fisher’s ATV World tv crew will appear at the 2009 Dirt Fest in Monticello New York on July 24 through the 26th to ride together with the Pink Ribbon Riders.

The event will be filmed for a September episode of Fisher’s ATV World. "We are very excited to have Fisher’s ATV World joining us for this new and exciting event. Brian will be an amazing addition to the event as well as a guest MC to the awards dinner. Brian has many opportunities to ride great trails and we are excited to show him an area that is still private land and in
the future maybe open to the public." It’s just a great fit to help promote Atv riding while helping those in need." states Jody McKay, Co-Founder of Pink Ribbon Riders.

The event is an organized trail ride open to both men and women and all kinds of bikes, atv and side by sides. Camping is offered on site and there will be live music, great food and lots of giveaways.

The event is sponsored by NYATVONLINE.com and Maplewood Auto as well as many supporting sponsors.

I'd like to join you on the ride, but after reading the informaion it seems that the event is limited to NY registered utv/atv's and no-one under 14 years of age. What is up with that? I have a PA registered Rhino and would like to ride with my 8 year old DCNR certified son.

Actually the info is wrong. The machine needs to be reg and insured in your home state. Also the 8year old is allowed as a passenger. The issue regarding age was with under 14 riding over 16 machines without safety course etc. Thanks - JT

If you live in the northeast I hope your planning on going to "DIRT FEST". Here is why.

I had the privilege of a sneak preview of the trails this weekend as well as look at the camping area, and this event could be epic. People are always complaining about not having any place to ride, especially in Jersey, Conn., Mass. Delaware, Maryland, NYC, Long Island, and Staten Island.

There is going to be a huge 30+ mile guided technical loop trail run, a burn out pit, wheelie competition, drag races, food, bands, DJ, camping with hundreds of your closest ATV friends, and beautiful women serving beer topless. Can it get any better than this? Ok, there won’t be beautiful women serving beer topless, but Fishers ATV World is going to be there and that is even better.

So; tune up the quads, dust off the camping gear, log on and signup cuz’ this is gonna be one heck of a good time. Kwitchurbellyaching about not have any place to ride and join us this weekend in beautiful Sullivan County.
