I know some of you have done this to get rid of the annoying black box so can anyone tell me how to wire it in???

Trace the wires out of the black blob and down to the connector, you want to splice the kill button in to those two wires (It was a few weeks ago I did mine so I do not remember the colors).

There is a third wire that needs a jumper to complete the circuit or the quad will not turn over, Iwish I could be more help man, I just cant remember the wire colors and everything is secured and covered now.

What does the third wire need to hook too? Does it also come out of the black box and you just wire into one of the others Im guessing? Thanks man

I need to look at the wire diagram again and it's at the shop but it has to go to ground or to power try & jump em to both your spicing till the quad turns like Blizzard said. Ill look as asap.

Now I remember... TNT reminded me.

The two wires out of the red kill switch on the blob need to make a complete circuit, trace them down to the same connector as the start button and splice them together.

How the red button works is (RUN) completes the circuit and (STOP) breaks the circuit.
Basically a "Normally Closed" circuit.

Sorry Blizzard Im still confused wires are my weakness so I take the two wires from the kill switch and wire to wich two or three wires?

1) Two wires from the original red kill switch need to be spliced together.

2) The two wires from your new start button need to be wired into the two wires that come from your old start button.

3) Start your bike and enjoy

Follow the wires from the "blob" and find the connector, the ones that need to be jumped are the black/white tracer and the Black wire. Try not to get confused, because they change colors on the harness side of the connector! (black becomes Violet/beige, black/white becomes Orange/Yellow) One of these wires will be out by itself and uses a single bullet connector. The starter wires are like TNT said, but my '08 doesn't have a pink/white wire; instead its a Yellow/Blue (becomes Red/Black on the harness side), and a Red/Violet (becomes Yellow/Red).
