I have a 2 color logo that I need screenprinted on 5-10 t shirts. Does anyone here work for a company that does this? Who can hook me up with a killer deal? I only have a jpeg of the design though.

Thanks!

Nobody? A local shop told me like $27/shirt which is rediculous. What is reasonable for something like this? $15/shirt?

I could cut the design in 2 color vinyl for cheap possibly free. Buy the material and l I would just keep the extra and do the vinyl for free?

You would need a heat press though.
Heres a place that sells vinyl to see the price.

Looks like its about $80 for 2 rools of 15"x15' of vinyl, plus application tape and shipping. Not sure the total cost.

the price of about $25 a shirt sounds about right. Its a two color (two screens) and its only a few shirts.

Check into some sites online. Look for the ones that look like they are a small business and then go to them. They will work with you. Just remember, the more you order, the cheaper they are.

I just had 50 t shirts made with red bull logos
With 5 different colors for about 40 bucks. I think you can find a better deal.

Thanks for the replies guys...anyone that could do this in-house for me? I'm not looking to buy material and then have to stamp my own shirts..

Depending where you live or who you know ask like a local school or organization where they get there stuff done. There is a local shop around here that will do up to 3 colors for $8 a shirt plus price of shirt or bring in your own shirts. I went to wal mart and got shirts for $7 a piece. He does all the schools cheap like middle school jerseys and tees so anything like what i brought him was just extra side money! Just find someone that helps locals or whatever that runs alot and depending on what you need could hook you up or if you belong to an oraganization that you know uses them they may give you a deal also because of past and future buisness.

My mom will do 10$ a shirt for you...
It can be direct print or vynl, which ever you prefer(or how complex the design is)

Is that basically...print it on your printer and iron it on a shirt?

That would be heat transfer.

Direct is printed directly on the shirt. You stick the shirt in the printer and it prints on the shirt. It works better with brighter shirts. I'm not sure how well it lasts, that should depend on the quality of ink used.

That your company? I'm looking for someone who works for a company that can do this or something like that to get a better price versus online sites. I checked out another site and they had a minimum order of 24...which is more than double what i'm looking for..

Not my site.

I do T-shirt artwork on the side though, and you're not gonna get a dozen, 2-color shirts for $7.00 a shirt, I can promise you that.

Their work looks kind of sketchy. Have you ordered from there before?

Seein that you are from lafayette, if you know anyone in a frat or sorrority at purdue ask them where they get their shirts made. There were several people at IU that did this very cheap.

Yeah we dont do silk screen but the direct print comes out pretty good. Vynl is like rubberish like material and you have your image cut out then heat pressed onto the shirt. It lasts forever and colors dont fade but you can only do one color at a time and each color is just a solid color. Vynl is better for just text or something simple. So if your interested send me a message, like I said 10$ a shirt.

They get them done at the local bookstore but also buy LARGE volume so that would be how they get killer deals.

You can do 2 color vinyl on shirts. I just did a 4 color on a shirt not to long back. I would only stack 2 colors cause anymore and it gets too thick, but if everything is cutout and lined up to a single layer as opposed to stacking the vinyl on top of another it works fine.

Yeah but i was saying that you cant do fades and small detail. also vynl is more of a hassel when doing detailed things... Ripping of the material happens, something not being fully cut, having to pull out all those little cuts. post up what you want to be done and i can tell you what it would look best in.
and yeah we dont usually layer more than 2 colors, and if possible we try to cut it out so that it is still only 1 layer.
