well a grade 5 is a weaker bolt obviously....

I dont think I would trust any shock bolt to be a 5 grade. I actually have found any bolts for my shocks that I like more than stock, so my suggestion would be to just get more stock nuts.

ok so i am assuming that you got the sway bar used. Why not call the manufacturer and see what they say. Lowest grade i believe is 3. I just wouldnt want to ride a quad knowning that my shock bolt isnt the strongest that I could get. You might be fine with a 5, its just not the strongest.

no i didnt get it used, the bolt stripped somehow, anyways i called them and they said to look for one here cause it would be cheaper

if i'm not mistakin these bolts are metric. if you get a standard size bolt(regardless of grade) it may not fit snug. so if go try to match it up make sure you take one of the bushings from you shock(or the whole shock) with you to make sure it fits with no freeplay. if you do find a metric bolt, the strongest grade is 12.9, 8.8 being the lowest grade of metric bolts so dont use them, i have broken several.

from any hardware store ace do it what ever also carrys metric bolts just take the other bolt in to make sure you get the right one. Grade 5 should be good Ive ran mine for over a year jumped rolled over a few times still aint bent.
I did at first have the swaybar running off the shock bolt then I welded tabs on the shock mount for better mounting point cause my hiems joints on the links would bind up when goin trough the travel.

you could get by with a grade 5 since your on a time crunch, i had one in mine for a while, i would just find a grade 8 when you have a chance
