yep. about an hour of paper work too. got it for 4700. red, new, 02'. it fits me good too. for some reason i think this might not be his. i got a 112 main jet at Honda today for my 250. that's why it keeps backfiring, it's lean because of the pipe and filter. if i don't get it now, i'll get it in 2 years which isn't bad. the way he and the guy talked and kept looking at me, i dunno. can't ride it until 5 and have plently of homework and projects to do in the meantime.

thanks man. i can't wait to ride this thing. my dad took the keys to work though:grr. i'll have to get used to the clutch but that won't be a problem.

Oh come on now, surely you would'nt take dads new quad for a spin when he was not home?

lol..taking the keys reminds me of something.....last year my family and some friends went camping..well our parents went to a bar..so me and my friend decided to take my dads truck to the gas station...but we forgot to roll the windows back up...lmao

the 400 is not mine. but...2 years i get a truck and the 400 is in the back.:). it's nice. it is roomy and i love the clutch. it's so easy to use. it has power too. but i know i'm going to get flamed for saying this but, i was a little dissapointed because i was expectin this HUGE power difference and there is none. there is a difference but not as much as i thought. the front end likes to come up with you go through the gears. i love it. i wish i could have it. fun to ride around the house.

yeah, thought about that. he'd get mad that he didn't get to ride it first and me messing with wires. it's really funny when i mess with wires and don't know what i'm doing:blah.

chit, you dont need no keys, its easy to hot wire a quad, just tie the ignition wires together and hit the button, and your gone.:devil

When my sister got her 250ex, I thought it was gonna be really really slow. It was a lot faster then I thought but still didnt compare power wise.
Also how does the suspension and handling compare, do you like that a lot more on the 400ex?

my dad got a brand new honda foreman 450es and rode it once. then it was mine. he told me i couldnt have it when he first got it.
i kept it for a few months, then traded it in for my 300ex

its very very easy to hot wire a 400ex but i dont think its good idea for me to say how

now that i'm riding it harder there is a big power difference. they feel different. i like the 400's feel. the front end feels perfect. the suspension is a dream. i was jumping 3 feet high 20 feet long in 2nd gear with was my 3rd. and i landed and it was just so smoth. i got back on mine cause i'm more used to it and i hit it harder and i got massive whiplash. it felt like i didn't even have shocks. my dad jumped 3 times and gave it to me. he was out of breath. i love the clutch on it. but i stalled it! AH! i tried to pull it out in 2nd and didn't give it enough gas.
